Ok here are videos I promised...sorry for the quality, I hastily put them together using my canon DSLR.

I got the higher end 15" with 2.6 ghz processor and 512GB SSD.

Below is a video comparing screens/boot times of this laptop and my mid 2010 MBP, I also show geek bench scores and SSD performance.

Next is a review on performance running Diablo 3! (i just uploaded might still be processing for a while)

Below are links to Geekbench scores and SSD performance

    Disk Test :

If you guys got questions / want more videos let me know!

Thanks for all your help in showing us everything. I haven't seen it in person so this helps greatly.

awesome videos! I commented on the WoW one, I'll copy/paste it here also:

Can you still use a fan controller to boost the speed of the fans? This would probably make them more noticeable, but just curious how it would affect temperatures.
Thank you, both of your videos reviewing this laptop are really informative to my purchase!

I was hoping you'd get into a fight in Diablo 3 and show how the frame-rates drop. I get 60fps at 1920x1080 on my 3-year-old iMac at the location you're standing at. :D

I don't believe you'll get anything near 60fps in 1680x1050 with your settings once the projectiles/magic starts flying.

Also, with V-Sync off, there's quite a bit of screen tearing.

I did appreciate your info on glare between the old/new system, though. Very telling.

I would also love to see this! 2880x1800 with AA turned OFF and you actually fighting some mobs (preferably a lot of them) would be amazingly helpful =).

Oh and thanks for all the videos and the info!

Does 1080p video look better or worse? Do websites, graphics, pictures, youtube videos, etc. look zoomed and blurry or is it at least as good as old MBP? What about 1080p desktop wallpapers?

I'm just worried that nothing will look great until it's remade in higher resolution like wallpapers, custom docks & icons, web sites, etc.???

    Really lost here.... :(:(
