They had guns drawn, perfectly reasonable response. Nothing to see here

Good for her! Sorry that she had to take a life, but it looks like they were certainly willing to do the same.

THEM having guns is irrelevant IMHO. you break into someone's home you are getting shot. unless it's a liberals home :p

Nobody's going to get her paper towels. I like how the husband appears after it's all over. "Honey, what's all the racket?"

Supposedly her business partner, she kept saying she had to call her husband during the 911 call.

That's not the way this works. If someone breaks in and has a weapon or is clearly threatening, by all means go ahead and defend yourself.

Some neighborhood kids come in through a window because they're just screwing around...I don't think you have the right to murder them.

I've already stated, THIS instance the lady responded appropriately. Those guys came storming in with guns ready to go.

If you come into my house by force or are not invited you are a threat. I'm not going to ask if you're armed, I'm going to assume it. The likelihood of leaving in a body bag goes up exponentially. I don't care if you're 14 or 34.

Yea that's great and all cowboy bob, but if you shoot a kid for being a mischievous teenager posing no threat to you, it's still murder.

I guess were suppose to ask them their age and then call Dr. Phil to get to the bottom of their penchant for mischief.

In YOUR eyes it might. In the eyes of the law it doesn't. Big difference! In your world you might see an intruder in your house and want to get to the bottom of why he/she are there. "If you just want the TV I'm OK with it. If you want to kill and/or rape my wife do you mind me asking if your armed before I get my gun". Good luck with that.

the manner in which they behave makes all the difference, a drunk impaired teen breaking in thinking it was his home is not going to act the same way as a burglar. but still if there is a threat you shoot till the threat ends

not funny, that varies so much by state it's freaking weird just what it means in each state.

That depends on where you live. There have been cases of idiots chasing people out of their home and firing on them as they flee in the back.

You can't shoot someone fleeing and still use the castle doctrine.

Anyway, I'll leave you to your Rambo tough guy fantasies. I'm sure you and your machismo would like some privacy.

Sowwie. We just got rid of(within 10 years) duty to retreat from our own homes. Now castle doctrine including vehicle.
