Ive got windows XP home installed on the trial version of parallels on my macbook pro, I've updated my windows with all the neccessary bit and bobs but it still wont recognise my video card. Have i forgot to do something in the process or are other having the same problem?

Did you install Parallels Tools? It's a DMG/ISO that is installed as part of your Parallels install that needs to be installed under Windows.

The video card that Parallels sees is virtualized, and will not be your real video card.

Click on the parallels menu and navigate till you find, install parallels tools. Click that and XP will install all extra drivers and such.

geneous, guess i got carried away and forgot to read the installation properly.
Cheers
