I just switched to Mac from pc and I am very happy about it. I was just wondering if someone could help me figure out how to view all my pictures as thumbnails (outside of iPhoto). It is very hard to quickly run through them when you have to click on each one to get a preview.

OS 9 did this easily, surely OS X is able to do it too. Please help.

thanks
Gjimmy

open a finder window, press command + j or go to view, show view options on the menu bar and then check off 'show icon preview'

there you go

wow! that is EXACTLY what i was looking for! a million thanks !

The show icon preview is good for a few pics but it can take forever to load if you have a lot of pics. I use Pic2Icon to create icons for my 100+ desktop images and there is no wait time.
