I currently have a vintage (i prefer not to use old as its only 1 yr old!!) iMac G5 1.8Gz 2gb RAM and am thinking of boosting its performance....
I have just spent last night playing with my uncles new Imac g5, 24" 2.8gz intel core duo and i am in awe!
Does anyone know if i will be able to purchase a mac pro and then use the current screen in my iMac instead of buying a new monitor? If so will i be able to run two systems?
    Please make my day!!!!
    thanks in advance

I am afraid you can't reuse iMac screens. Your best bet is to sell it.

    Don't think you can :(

However, you could always try taking the guts out and putting an average screen in there... But I don't think it would work too well.

The good news is that you'll get more for it than a nice screen will cost.
