I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips and recommendations on software to reduce the noise on scratchy vinyl.

I have SoundSoap and Ray Gun Pro; however, I found Ray Gun hopelessly difficult to use, and SoundSoap seems to tone down the sound too much. Not being a pro, I could just be using the software incorrectly, but some tips from experts out there would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, yeah: I have used CD Spin Doctor. In two words: IT SUCKS. It added skips to digitized vinyl that didn't exist when I applied filters. Roxio, of course, denies it, but its unusable to me.
