Can you name any who've advocated for violent overthrow of our government?

Righties definition of "looney tunes" usually means a candidate who supports healthcare.

There's a wee bit of a difference there.

And if you name somebody, it has to be somebody that ran as a Democrat. Independent parties, Green party, etc, doesn't count.

I didn't think about this part of his "revolution", but now that you mention it, I like the idea. Bring on the revolution of idiots! I'm only a five hour drive from Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal.

Let's instead, based on reactionary fear of the rest of the world and infighting, select a dictator, become an autocracy, conquer by force, become complacent and corrupt, be invaded by Visigoths, then...

wait, that was the Roman Empire.

Perhaps the radical fringe should emmigrate.

Broden has been a political commentator on Fox "News" Channel. Why doesn't that surprise me.

Ah the radical right, so in tune with the nation, as always. It's funny the comparison to the American Revolution, maybe the crazies should go set up a colony just west of the Bering Sea and fight for their independence.

were headed in that direction ...
every year you get a promise to be fiscally responsible, lower deficit, cut budgets and every year it comes back higher, regardless of which party you support. The system is flawed, all attempts to fix it have failed. I don't see anyone in gov't willingly admitting their failure and turning in their resignation.

I hear Zurich is pretty this time of year. Nuff Said.

Frankly, I salivate at the idea of a bunch of Bubba McBeerguts grabbing their deer rifles and "revoluting" against the best-trained and best-equipped military in the history of the world. I just hope it's available for live streaming; it'll be an interesting change from Netflix. For five minutes. At least the gene pool will be majorly improved.

What I find ironic is that Bubba McBeerguts' children are more likely to be members of the best-equipped military in the history of the world, and the "revolt" is because he disagree with the party who wants him to have healthcare and a reasonable retirement instead of Fatcat Goldfinger, CEO of Megacorp, who doesn't want to pay Bubba a living wage and would rather ship his job overseas.

    Don't even think it.

Because they wouldn't be fighting the army. They'd be setting up roadblocks and dragging hippies out of their cars and shooting them because they wore tie-dyed T-shirts. They'd be forming roving death squads and tracking down registered Democrats from stolen voting lists. They'd be setting off car bombs at the local farmer's market.

This isn't something anybody would want to see.
