I thought this was quite funny since a bunch of our right-wing members loved this guy and posted a bunch of his videos a couple months back. Funny what happens when people actually wake up and realize what's going on around them.

On the democrat side Bernie is certainly the best option.

I disagree with his general opinions and I don't think he has the personality to be a competent president, but he has decent, principled voting record.

Compared with the other democrats he's superman.

I wouldn't lead with him as my choice but if it boiled down to him vs Hitlery, I'd go Sanders. I'd take him vs a blatant liar any day. Hiltery can not be trusted and should be in jail.

Bernie Sanders is a superman compared to plenty of people his age, never mind their political persuasion. He's made me realize I am not too old to show up at the barricades after all. So those outfits wanting to run those two 30" gas pipelines through this area of the western Catskills should beware!

Bernie's programs won't require a raise in taxes, since his intentions are to rejuggle funding among the programs we already have in place.

Hell, you could free up billions just by cutting corporate welfare by 20%.

Because by this point, it's all but obvious that being able to pull out of the Middle East is more a nice wish than a workable reality.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people want to us to leave, but we can't. If the Western World were to pick up stakes today, and haul ass out, the resulting power vacuum would likely end up in that deeply entrenched Islamic Caliphate ISIS is doing their damnedest to instate, but with the combined resources of a goodly chunk of the Middle East at their disposal. They'd likely ally with Saudi Arabia and the Taliban in Afghanistan, putting immediate pressure on Israel, and, hell, even Iran, which will suddenly find itself the only moderate Muslim nation in the region. The problems that'll spread from there will effect everyone from the US, to the EU, to Russia.

So we're damned if we do, but a lot more damned if we don't.

Who cares about the political opinion of a thirteen year-old anyway?

Obama didn't have anything to do with the Libyan Civil War. The most he did was half-heartedly respond to what was already going on.

The opinions of anyone under 30 on any political topic do not matter.

    /unless you're in the military

Just handing a bunch of arms over and hoping for the best probably wasn't the best idea in the world, no.

The Republicans did when he was on their side.

Now they just are writing him off as "just a kid".

Funny how that works. Kids the greatest thing since sliced bread when he soaked up their bull ****, but once he realized it's bull **** he's now "just a kid who can't make up his mind."

    I just think it's hilarious.

Funny since the votes of the under 30 crowd made the difference in the last two presidential elections.

I dunno. It might've worked once or twice before. Can't think of when, though.
