Don't worry. You have nothing to worry about.

And stay away from Google maps and WikiPedia and sites like this while you're at it, okay?

I always pay cash, and I have three SIM cards, which I sometimes switch with one cell phone.
But I watch my porn in the open, when in an internet cafe. Am I still considered a terrorist?

It sounds a bit like 1984 and also a bit like the Third Reich, but only the beginning. I guess it will stay that way for a while until enough people have enough of their "freedoms" and rather want their "insecure" lives back.

And with all the talk and hope for NFC and RFID and smart-phones, watching citizens will be even easier than before, but we perceive it as freeing to not have to carry so much cards or cash or IDs with us. I mean, they are heavy.

For all the BS about Bush vs Obama, a shocking number of people on both sides of the aisle seem to conveniently forget that on domestic "national security" issues, there's hardly a discernible difference between them. One signed off on PATRIOT. The other reauthorized/extended it. One set up the DHS security farce in our airports, etc...the other maintains status quo. One retroactively gave immunity to telcos for spying on us. The other just made sure it stayed legal for the future. Or how about assassinating a US citizen? Can you really tell me one party's leader sounds more likely to that than the other?

Whether it's donkey or elephant excrement, it's still s***. WAKE UP.

Does anyone else besides me look at that flyer and think that it's not an official piece of anything. It seems to have been written by a first-grader. Certainly not something that came from the FBI.

I thought that myself when I saw it a few days ago.

Still want to believe its fake. Bah, Americans can't be this stupid can they?

It's actually just one of many flyers put out by the FBI, and they usually don't make them public. Each of them taken in aggregate would make practically all normal behavior appear to be suspect.

Someone or group in the FBI needs serious psychiatric counseling.

Never misunderestimate the American potential for ignorance and stupidity. In fact, many Americans proudly show off the gravel in their knuckles.

It would be much easier to just drive around at night until you find an open Wi-Fi hotspot, park your car there, do your business, and drive away. Really absurd.

No, no, that is not very Kiwi at all. You really need to avoid importing Amercania to your islands, that would not do at all

Because American culture sucks. The only good culture in US is that agar they use for growing bacteria in petrie dishes.

Just drive to any apartment complex and you're guaranteed to find some unprotected WiFi. But really, it's not hard to run a script to bruteforce passwords. And lots of people still use WEP for some reason.

How hard is it to get onto a "closed" network (one that does not broadcast its name)?
