Trump is a Russian puppet. If N. Korea, China or some Islamic state put out this video Trump would be hulking out on twitter calling for Congress to declare war. Instead the man who has criticized everyone from the Pope to gold star parents and random people on twitter doesn't have a damn thing to say? Think about this, there are two things Trump doesn't talk about, a porn star who clearly has rattled his cage and the other is Russia. If Trump doesn't talk about a porn star because she called him out of a one night stand then what the frak does Russia have on Trump that makes him so scared to react to 60 US diplomats being thrown out or the leader of our cold war enemy showing a propaganda video nuking our country?

This is some seriously ****ed up ****.

They've accepted too many Cubans? If that little phallic thing wasn't in Cuba's face Communism would have flourished.

No, but you can always speak out against them. We need to put heavy diplomatic pressure on them before they end up crossing a line where there is no longer a choice besides war.

And what would that line be? We’re already expelling diplomats based on no evidence. The LOGIC (regardless of intent) of this push for ever more aggression is in fact a push to war.

Not that I'm defending Trump, but there is a big differences between Russia and North Korea. First Russia can probably backup some of the claims that Putin is boasting about. Second, Putin is no Rocket Man, for what he does are calculated moves where Kim Jong-un moves are in my opinion to shore up his power base and that he is not going to be a push over.

I also think this is Putin's way of getting back at the U.S. for expelling Russian diplomats. I liken this to a high stake poker game where you don't show your hand and that you bluff as much as possible in hopes in getting away with it.

Yes. I read about it March 1st.

Putin called it a ballistic missile. It didn’t look to follow a ballistic trajectory to me, but I don’t know much about these things. Maybe it’s just fake news.

I get Russia is no N. Korea or anyone else, that doesnt change the fact that Trump, the man who criticizes everyone and anyone for anything, can only show praises for Russia. We all know he wouldn't accept that nonsense from anyone else, yet if Russia does it he acts like a submissive 1950s house wife that just got yelled at for not having dinner ready when Putin returns home from a long day of dictating.

Putin and Trump are both in the midst of propping up our respective arms industries, and the Russians really want to show off hardware they've been working on since 2009. The Sarmat (RS-28) is an upgrade to the MIRV-launching R-36M "Satan," a land-based intercontinental missile. The interesting thing about the Sarmat is that it's capable of carrying 24 of the new Avangard hypersonic glide missiles, which can use a Ramjet to fly in fast at hypersonic speeds.

Now, the interesting question is if the U.S has something similar, and the answer is probably yes. But, we've been quiet about it, probably because we didn't want to ramp up the Russians into a new arms race.

However, since Bing Bong announced the U.S. was spending billions more, Putin felt it was time to show off the new hardware.

The scary aspect is that both Putin and Trump seem nostalgic for the Cold War and there's always the possibility that someone's going to make a mistake and launch an Avangard.
