Carrier Vodafone UK Pre-order Thread

Seen that we have an O2 thread thought it be a good idea to have a Vodafone one so we can post updates and info and find it easier than browsing the UK thread.

I have ordered a Space Grey iPhone 6 Plus 64GB hopefully expected on the 19th.
currently at the confirmation stage.

I sat on hold for about an hour while attacking their website. Eventually got my order in online at about 9:00am. Went for the £53.50 4G plan with £129 up front iP6+ 64GB Space Grey.

I worked out it's about £200 cheaper [than buying the phone SIM free] over 24 months than what I have SIM only at the moment. I do go down from 8GB data to 7GB but I can live with that.

Got my 'Thank you' and 'Order Confirmed' emails about a minute apart.

I only managed to get my two iPhone orders in on the phone at 11.15am

I have had two texts which I got straight away. I then got an email on Saturday morning saying that they will try their best to get the iPhone 6 plus on launch day but cannot guarantee it. No email about my iPhone 6.

Order shows as "accepted" on their tracker.

6/64/SG Ordered online (as upgrade) at 10:04 on Friday 12th.

Delivery was stated as 19th, so fingers crossed.

I ordered online just after 9am for a SG 6P 64GB. Expected on the 19th. It's at the stage 2 accepted last time I checked.

20% monthly employers discount has just cleared on the account.
Roll on Friday but knowing my luck i be last on the list and it will turn up just before 7pm like my 5 did.

They wouldn't let me use it on top of another discount :-/ so I had to pick one. Both are 20% discounts and the guy was like 'which one do you want?'.

I believe Voda use DPD? If so you'll be able to track the van online and have a much better idea of when it's being delivered.

I also work for one of the companies in there advantage scheme, how do I go about enrolling for the 20% discount before the phone arrives? It says I need my mobile phone number to register?

Call up Voda or drop into a store.

All you need is the name of your company and a company email address that you have access to. (IIRC).

Has above but if you don't have a work email address just take proof in like photo id. That's what I did

Mine was a upgrade so they had number on file but if your a new customer with no number yet it's probably true

Over on the Voda forums, people are saying their orders are moving from stage 2 to stage 3. Mine hasn't moved yet

I'm also with Vodafone. Ordered the 6+ 64GB SG on the £58.50 & £99 upfront and got my confirmation email at 8:17am on 12/09, but as with you guys, the tracker is still on stage 2. I've also have my VEA discount confirmed this morning, so that's something at least!

All the iPhone 6 orders ive seen have now moved to stage 3 of the tracking process yet my 6+ is still stuck at stage 2

As far as I can see, a few people that ordered the 6 64GB have had their status updated. No other sizes for the 6 and no 6+ at all.

They probably opened a pallet full of 64GB iP6's and are working through that one first.

I'm a 6/64/SG @ 10:04/12th and no change from stage2 for me.
