Hi, so I have just bought my iPhone (yesterday actually)

And when anyone trys to call and my phone is off or I divert them, their phone just beeps and they get cut off. Its basically not going to my voicemail.

Can someone help?

Thanks in advance!!

Hey Fella,
I had the same problem when I fired up my iphone, you need to turn on the 901 message service with o2 by dialling 1750 from your phone, this will activate the voicemail and bingo you are in business.
Its smart system once working - shame they cant tell you how to switch on you just gotta guess your way through!!
Hope that works.

Is this a legit O2 iPhone contract or a PAYG/Simplicity/something else? Either way, it might sound stupid but try turning voicemail off and on again (or maybe just on).

Call 1750 to turn O2 voicemail on
Call 1760 to turn O2 voicemail off

I had the same problem with mine, you may need to turn off call waiting.

I tried calling 1750 - it didn't work - I got a call failed. The O2 service I have is provided by Tesco Mobile. Also, I have an iPhone 3.
