Voodoo Mini Clone

It's not THAT bad... if you pick a good colour. Definitely not as good as Apple's Mac Mini. I hate blatant copies. There is practically nothing that differs this product from Apple's. :mad:
 
And it goes to show that the Mini is very reasonably priced, considering that thing's $900 without an OS. Add XP Home edition and SHIPPING, and it's $1122.

True, and hopefully the next Mini will have a 7200rpm drive.

But that doesn't make up for the rest of the nastiness. ;) :D

Hmmm, so your saying if I painted a 9-year-old PC white, it wouldn't be so bad? Of course! Why didn't I think of that :)
 
This isn't really new. It is simply an AOpen mini PC case custom configured by Voodoo. They also do Shuttle XPCs based on the SN25 and a few others makers.

It is bigger than the mini, so it can fit a regular 3.5" drive in it. Integrated graphics and shared memory.

Meh.

The Mac Mini only has a Radeon 9200 so I think these two would be ALMOST on par when it comes to graphical performance.

MY GIRLFRIEND WOULD LOVE IT! actually she wouldn't, because there's two things in life she hates. one is pcs, the other is the colour pink.

"more powerful than the mac mini", but limited to half the ram and disk space. either that or safari's just seen it in pink and refused to allow me to configure one. quite rightly so.

Go Safari! :)

Buy an mini and sent it to Colorware PC and have them paint it for you. Or, order it from Colorware and have it custom configured.

If painting isn't your style, then skin your mini.

Lots of options out there that do not involve a Windows PC.

You can configure it on Firefox ($116 for delivery!), but what's the point when you'll see this and then go for a Mini ;)
