I searched the forums and couldn't seem to find a thread for an answer, so I apologize in advance if this has (and probably was) already been covered.

I have a Mac Pro 1,1 running Windows 7 64-bit Professional. Everything works wonderfully as long as I don't walk away from the computer, let the screensaver come on, and then let the computer sleep. Waking up the computer results in Windows crashing and giving me a blue screen. This happens consistently. I then have to shut the computer down using the power button on the front of the machine and restart.

I've tried changing the power management settings in Windows so the hard drive never shuts down during sleep.

Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution?

Thanks.

Ha!

Hey Balamw. Yea, unfortunately I suppose it's something I'll have to live with until I fork out thousands to buy a new one.
