    Help! I need advice

I am sitting here staring at my new iphone 3GS waiting to activate it, but
am afraid because I want to install ultrasnow and unlock my 3G before
    I sell it on ebay.

My question is since ultrasnow is not available yet, once I activate my
3G S, will I be able to go back and load ultrasnow through cydia on
my 3G because it will no longer be activated.

Or should I just sell it on ebay without the unlock and just jailbroken!

    Thanks for the advice...

Can't you just put the sim card back into the 3G when you want to run the phone so you can unlock it ???

3G S has yet to be jailbroken. You cannot jailbreak it nor unlock it. Ultrasnow is coming out very very soon but will only work for the iPhone 3G.

To answer your question, yes you will be able to go back and load ultrasn0w on your 3G after you activate the 3GS.

And, what others posted previously is also true: the 3GS has not yet been jailbroken/unlocked, so don't expect to load up Cydia, etc. on it just yet.

Yes...I know I can't unlock or jailbreak the 3G S right now, I just want
to know if once I activate the 3g s, since the 3g wont be activated anymore, if i can go back and install ultrasnow on a phone that isn't activated, because you can only get to the emegency call screen....Like the previous poster said, can
I put my sim from the iphone 3g s into the 3g temporarily to unlock?

    Thanks.
