Just as I predicted: Wall Street will decide who Clinton chooses for her VP pick. I can't wait for the excuses, the rationalizations, the apologia, or the outright denials that Politico is a real web site.

Hilary's weakness is age. She won't pick someone as old as her. Someone in their 40s makes a lot more sense.

This is a good news story for Clinton. Gives her an opportunity to show some independence from the Wall Street crowd. Plus, she knows this is a BS bluff - WS is not going to burn its bridge with the odds on favorite to be the next president. It's all kabuki theater.

Why oh why can't you title threads so they match the article's claims.

"Wall Street" had not told Hillary who her running mate will be. Some democrat donors from Wall Street have warned her that if she picks Warren that SOME donations COULD dry up.

Glad someone else is taking up the call. Seems once again designed to inflame, not inform.

Warren is too shrill and schoolmarmish for a VP pick. Besides, Hillary will need someone willing to essentially be third in line for the presidency, after Bill. Historically the vice-presidency hasn't been "worth a bucket of warm piss" but Hillary's will be even more powerless than usual. No big dog politician will give up their safe seat for that job. She needs a Fredo Corleone type.

Lol. Actually, that describes Trump's likely VP to a T. He already has manservant Christie to fetch his McDonald's.

You think he could've fit "Lee" and "Stephens" in there, too.

Are you insane? Christie is going to fetch his McDonald's???? Like there would be anything left in the bag if Christie got it. He would probably eat the kid's meal toy, as well.

From a purely strategic perspective, it wouldn't make sense for Clinton to choose Warren. I doubt she is considering it. As Senator, Elizabeth Warren is in a position to actually get things done. She is in a very powerful position right now. Vice President would be downgrade and a waste of her talent. I think everyone making the decisions understands this.

"Democratic donors" - or do you get upset when children call "Republican party" by other names, with intent as pejorative and immature insults? After all, "cant" is a word (not "can't") and "Republicant" is starting to pique my interest... but why should more of us stoop down to FOX News' level?)

    You're kidding me, right? Talent?

    One bill in 5 years.

"During her tenure in office, she's managed to pass just one bill of any significance through the Senate—the Smart Savings Act, which altered retirement accounts for federal workers to give them more returns on their investments"

----> From the article that hands Warren a veritable participation trophy.

Posts like this prove how cunning, convincing and powerful HRC is. Shes duped her supporters into believing she's not in bed with Wall Street.
