Wanting to buy an iPhone, need advice.

Hey guys. I am going to be buying an iPhone 5s, preferably a gold one. How long would I have to wait before I can walk into an Apple store and buy one unlocked? I have until the end of the month, but then I am leaving the USA at least until next spring. I am close enough to Chicago that I will probably go there rather than the smaller ones closer to me.

Order one online and better go for silver or space grey. Gold is hard to find these days

If you will settle for nothing but gold you will likely be disappointed. It could be months.
