Just curious I only got pre-authorization bill. I am assuming when the phone ships the CC will be billed fully?

All CC transaction have to be prea uthorized first, then a few days later the pre-auth should become a charge. So it's totally normal.

My debit card has been charged for $490.53. Now it's time to go pre-order an Otterbox.

You being charged or not likely has a lot to do with your bank and how fast transactions show up on your account. I am with Wells Fargo and the charge hit my debit card instantly. :(

Credits cards aren't charged until order ships. As others have stated they pre auth the card and usually falls off after a few days
