The XR doesn't have a 1080p display. When it comes to specs, I try to go for the best but in the real world, is there a noticeable difference compared to a phone that is 1080p? My kids watch a lot of YouTube videos/shows.

The XR screen looks way better in every aspect than the 1080p screen on my old Android phone.
It's not just about the resolution. The thing I find hilarious is that year ago, people were buying 326ppi iPhone 8 no problem. Now, they think that the 326ppi screen on the XR is somehow not suitable for videos, or that it will be horrendous to use everyday.

It's fine. The screen is fine. In fact, it's one of the best LCD's I've seen on a smartphone. Bright, vibrant and plenty sharp.

It may be 'fine' but the OLED on the X, XS and XS Max blow the LCD out of the water when it comes to Youtube.

Lol. I find the OLEDs to be trash personally. Good blacks sure, but terrible everything else. LCD wins.

This is too funny.

A few years back people had 40, 50 inch TVs that were 720p. It's not a bad resolution, especially for a tiny screen.

Lots of people still have data plans that don't let you watch videos in 1080p anyway.

326ppi is more dense than anything on printed paper! Do people squint at their books and pages in the office, complaining about seeing pixels?
