    I think you assigned blame incorrectly. From the article it seems it's the airlines fault.

    Wrong, by giving the airline authority, they allow people with even less competency then them to make decisions like...say...describing a child as terrorist.

    It's not the airline's fault -- it's the fault of somebody who works for the airline, or the person who trained them.

    The airline is people employed by the airline. Without these people, it's not an airline.

    I know, I was being deliberately elliptical. It seemed weird to me to blame this mistake on TSA when clearly somebody at the airline wasn't following procedure and/or using their brains.

    i think we can safely blame michael moore. after all, it is his fault that anyone with the Moore surname is no longer allowed to fly.
