Bad meme, bad bad bad.........
You need to slink off to the doghouse bad boy.
Did you mean bad hombre
yes but I could not spell it or midget.
Past that, it's not even true. Just this one group has welcomed back more than a million soldiers.
You hurt muh feelings
You're a bit late. A few federal judges have ordered the administration to exempt visa holders.
It's going to be a difficult few years. The whole country is so used to the backwards policies of BO and Dummy Bush that they think it's normal. When Teump begins instituting same policies again it's going to be shocking to our collective systems.
I just hope the peaceful and tolerant lefty millenial protesters brought enough lighter fluid and diesel generates to burn so they can spread their message of love and peace.
nah.... you hurt those volunteers' feelings.... better find a doghouse to hide in... now the program is ending, they might have time to look you up... put yer runnin' shoes on
Anyway when I had first read about that program, and assorted other formal or ad hoc ones like it, I was struck by what a great idea it was. I marched against the Vietnam War but I had kin and friends drafted or volunteered into those jungles and skies, and I always thought the people who were spitting at vets and calling them babykillers as they came back home were just atrocious.
Apathy would be just as bad.
Actually it is true...
Read the meme again. it says "more people show up at the airport". That is actually true sadly.
The meme makes sense, we do put more effort helping people outside of our country rather than the ones we have in it. We have a huge homeless population who don't get the aid some of these refugees are getting. Can't fix the rest of the world when our own house is broken. Instead we move them out of the cities so they aren't seen. Take a walk in DC at night and see how many are sleeping in the curbs right in front of our illustrious politicians.
