So I think we need to have a PRSI sow your sharps/guns/non-correct things.

I'm not a big gun guy even though I own a bakers dozen of them they sit in the no cameras allowed arms room. I'm becoming interested in sharps they've moved from tool that I need to have to something more. So how about it PRSI what do you carry that will make the rest uncomfortable whats your taboo weakness?

turning 45 in less than 2 weeks and with the current election "choices" we have I figured is was a good time to try & kill myself :p

regular knife wise walmart or big 5 special, sharp enough to shank someone & cheap enough to leave it in once you are sure there are no prints on it.

I used to have a $425 knife. Then one day I asked myself, "why the hell do I have a $425 knife?"

To my amazement, I sold it for a slight profit despite the fact that I bought it new, yet sold it used AND damaged over 10 years later.

That's when I learned that there are collector's knives and even investment knives, and that they can really go up in value. Not my thing though.

I've often thought about getting into the straight-razor thing. But so far I've held off, mainly because I always understood that they were designed to shave someone else's face, and secondly because buying a straight razor means you've got to deal with that whole sharpening/honing business. I can buy a years worth of double-edged safety razor blades on Amazon for about $15 and I can just toss them in my metal recycling bin when they begin to lose their edge.

I made an attempt at joining the straight razor scene once. Still got the scar to prove it.

you guys considered a shavette? I freaking LOVE my Crown King, takes full size DE blades.
    http://phoenixartisanaccoutrements.com/products/crown-king-shavette-tali-wood
looks good, performs GREAT, you can mess with the amount of exposure on the blade as you wish, from starbucks metrosexuals (mild/low) to postmans rampage , seriously that thing is almost scary in the adjustment department.
I tried other shavettes like the Dovo, that thing and others just didn't cut it for me. might order another crown king once the one with the bone scales goes in stock.

I miss my Japanese tools they got so sharp my plane blades would shave a layer of skin off and hairs would fly with sonic booms. I want a folding knife with a handmade white steel blade but I don't think I want to spend the money for it. Got the m390 powdered metal blade on the

Been using straight razors exclusively for over 25 years, here is a small sample ranging circa 1790, early 1800's, up to 1860's. Screen Shot 2016-05-11 at 01.47.17.png

    Opinel No. 09
Today I have used it for:

Taking silage wrap off a bale
Cutting string on a straw bale
    Trimming some heifers' tails
    Undoing/doing up a screw
Getting some dirt out from under my fingernails

    Won't be shaving with it.

it hs lesser steel then what I have now. i want a handmade blade I just don't want to pay that much for it :D I just don't use the knife enough to justify it. I have a Japanese paring knife that went almost 2 years before it needed sharpening just love the edge holding.
