This week, our resident midget has recused himself from posting the weekly off topic thread. As such, I've taken up the position this week. Chat about what you want. Keep the politics out. This is one of the few threads we get along in. Currently on my mind: I've come to realize a few things lately. I don't really like bacon. I'll eat it if I have to, but I don't see the point of it. Neither American (streaky bacon for our British friends) or Canadian bacon (similar to what our British friends eat). I don't like it in sandwiches, if it's been cured, I don't like it on pizza, I don't like it plain. Food cravings. I've had an unusual craving for pizza lately. All I crave is pizza. It reminds me of my university days. Granted it was easier to burn off the extra energy then and there were more independent shops then. For living in such a "Foodie State!," there's not a lot of indy shops here churning out good pizza. Last but not least, I believe Wednesdays are referred to as "hump days" by younger generations. It's an odd name and not something I heard when I was younger but gained popularity sometime in the late 90s through a resurgence of Steinbeck's writings. Though I believe that apart from it being the middle of the week, more or less, people also use it as a day to have... shall we say, adult charades?
