i noticed this thing on my screen
the weird part about it is that it is COMPLETELY unnoticeable when the screen is on
whether what the screen color or the viewing angle is, it is unoticable
the green splotch is only noticable when the screen is off and when viewed at a certain angle

im think it might be apple logo that might be causing this...

I just put mine up to a bright light, you can clearly see the light shining through the Apple Logo on the back through the screen on the front.

I just held my BlackBook up to the light and i can see it through it so i guess so :)

THat's absolutely normal!

How do you think the apple logo gets illuminated? It's made of translucent acrylic, so when your display is on, the backlight goes through it.

The other way, if your display is off and you held your Mac against any light source, this light goes through the apple logo and is projected against the lcd panel!

No issue about that!
