Weird noise on the right side of my (early 2006) MacBook Pro 15"

hi everyone..

well.. my MacBook Pro suddenly start to make a strange noise on the right side..
I think maybe it's the fan but not sure. Maybe the fan shocking with something due the dirt presence.. I don't know.. It's my first non software problem on this computer

Anyone had this problem before? what do you people did to fix it?

Same thing happened to me. Max out your fans and check the rpm. In my case my right fan would only top out around 4k when it should have been around 6k.

I ended up buying replacement fans from ifixit and replaced both.

You can easily see your fan speed by using istat pro or smc fan control. I also had a fan die. It was at 0rpm and had apple change it out for me.
