Well my new 27" iMac will be here on the 22nd and I need some speakers.

I figured since I bought a new computer I'd update my desktop speakers. Could some of you recommend some speakers that go with this new iMac and sound good?

i upgraded to bose 5 series ~399
Excellent simulated 5.1 surround in a 2.1 package for movies, music, etc..

3 series is also very good for around 179, id steer clear of their lower 2.0 multimedia speakers, I wasn't impressed with those.

I originally had harmon kardon (spelling) the clear, tall 2.1 system. Was great but started crackling after two years, which may be about the time for new pair anyways; I have high expectations.

Best buy has really good selections and finance plans too.
