No an uncommon occurrence for new product roll outs. Those are only estimates and as time goes on they firm it up.

A new email? Or you just mean you saw 4/24-5/8 when you ordered and then the email said 4-6 weeks?
if it is the latter that just means it slipped in the middle of you ordering.
No ordered and e-mail confirmed 4/24-5/8 at 303am and changed to 4-6 weeks after checking online when I woke up!
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he never checked the initial email you get a few min after ordering, he then woke up and checked it

Yeah, I was thinking what you were. He just didn't check his email. Now anxiety will set in for everyone. What was the time difference between emails?
mine has not changed for me it says 4/24/15 to 5/8/15, and I checked the order status and it still matches my email

Yes it has changed but did you check your order confirmation online or just look at the estimated delivery times in the store?

I wouldn't until he conforms if he just looked at the estimated time in the store or actually check his own confirmation details. Mine still has 4/24-5/8 when checking my order confirmation online.
seems weird he would be the only person who received two emails and the date slip. Everyone else who "felt like it slipped" was b.c it changed mid order. They just got 1 email.
I just checked on my 42 mm SS Black Sport Band and it's still hanging in there for 4/24-5/8 deliver.
Dont feel bad, placed my order at 12:03 AM PST (3 minutes after it went live) got 4 -6 weeks as well.
So I think the system is being safe... I am not going to lose sleep over it (literally woke up @ 1:55 snoozed to 1:59 refreshed my app until i was available and used apple pay to checkout, fastest method).

He didn't- I think he just looked at the estimated times in the store. Until he can confirm that his order confirmation has changed, I wouldn't worry about it.
When I ordered my iPad Air 2, it was static at 22nd - 24th October for ages, until the 22nd when it changed to a week later.
However, a few hours later it reversed to the 24th and I got it then, so don't worry, you may get it sooner!
