I’d say after 1 year the resale value of the steel AWs is below 50%, something like 35%-40%. Do you agree?

What would you say is the resale value of aluminum AW after 1 year?

It also depends which model/generation we talking about for the aluminum model. Figuratively speaking, the Apple Watch is based on condition overall as well.

They do Drop significantly, But the closer A Keynote approaches and the rumors are flourishing about a new Apple Watch, then the market really is saturated with used Apple Watches for sale, as everyone plans on upgrading. But they do hold some
value if it's the latest model offered for the most part. But like all technology, the depreciation is rather quick.

Just check out Craig’s list. Resale is sad.

It's probably not great for either model but I think the SS loses value more than the Alu.

I'd say at least 50% after one year. I've only had stainless steel models and have sold 2 of them so far when upgrading.

For both the original and Series 2 I purchased them at launch for 779 + sales tax (13%) - $880 total.

Funnily enough, sold both of them for the same price when the newer model was launching for $550. So got back 62.5%.

This year I think the SS Series 2 will hold some resale value as the only SS option is the LTE model which is priced a bit higher, and the Series 2 still performs well.

Check out swappa, on there you can see the different models and what they've recently sold for.

Good suggestion. Swappa is likely the best source to compare to see what's selling and overall value. It's more of a generalization, but being that technology resale changes almost every day, it's the best source in my opinion.
