No.

Batteries that have a high capacity (claimed or actual) will likely have a high internal resistance. Everyone is focused on capacity but internal resistance is also important. A high internal resistance means the battery cannot supply the high current needed and the phone shuts down unexpectedly. The capacity is meaningless if it cannot flow out quick enough.

Apple has already put in a battery with a good compromise between capacity, internal resistance, and safety. If you try to squeeze in a battery with higher capacity, you risk the other factors. There's no free lunch.
Thank you so much for the explanation. I just wish 6s plus can provide 10 hours of usage time and just plug in to charge for the night. That’ll be nice. I remember when it 1st came out in 2015 with that version of iOS, it used to last 1 and a half day easily. With current iOS’s I just got a brand new battery installed at apple, it gives 6,7 hours of usage time when its good. I wish a device can stay at when you purchased.

Since I upgraded to 11.3, battery draining fast. This is for a normal working day. Apple says I was off the phone only for about 40 odd mins through the day. What can I do?

Launch day 6s: Had the faulty battery that turned off all the time, got it replaced by Apple in Dec 2016. Now, after 15 months, I have only 86% left  I hardly get through a day if I use the phone more than just a couple of texts in the lunch break. I just restored iOS 11.3 via DFU and set it up as new phone. Hope that helps.
I'm quite pissed though and plan either to replace the battery myself this year or get a 29€ replacement by Apple...
Im typing this on a (nearly) launch day 6S plus and Its still at 82percent health with original battery
It holds a charge just fine

my iphone x battery is at 92% . Using it since mid december
This is the most wear I’ve seen on an X. How many times per day do you charge it? Just curious how heavy your use is. Do you constantly have it on gps and drive a lot?

Oh man! My 7 Plus is at 96%.

I'd be a bit concerned. Do you both charge them a lot? I think I charge my 7 Plus a lot but it still doesn't have that level of wear.

Yep I charge it a lot. I'll send it to repair when close to warranty expiration

My release day iPhone X is at 98%. Considering that the phone is over 6 months old, I'm OK with that.

You’ve had the phone for ~150 days and used around 300 cycles. 92% is actually pretty decent, since the phone is supposed to be at or above 80% after 500 cycles. You’re over half way there and have only lost 8%. Battery wear isn’t linear, but if it were you would be at around 84% after 600 cycles (October sometime)

My X was saying 100% until last month, then suddenly dropped to 97%. Today I let it run down until it turned off, and it dropped to 95%. Coconut battery is reporting 98% battery health. What gives?

My X is %96

I bought launch day. But i always use it with anker quick charge. I think it is caused by q-charging.

I bought November and I used to charge it at home, I was not studying. March it was 98% and I back to college also In March, since that I’ve using tplink battery for charging during classes at night, and it’s so quick guy... 10 minutes And iPhone charges 25%... . And now I realized that it’s 92%.

During charging it’s not reaching 100% anymore... it stops charging at 98%...

May you’re right: fast charging wears iPhone battery

6S, 95%, battery was replaced through Apple’s replacement program last year.

Overall battery life still meh since the 6S has the smallest battery of all the iPhones in that form factor.

The health info is in beta, so it’s not 100% accurate.

My iPhone X from three weeks after launch day is at 96%.

What are the best charging habits for the iPhone (ex. overcharging, overnight charging, when to charge, etc.)? There's so much contradicting info online and I don't know what's correct.
