Now that we know that watchOS 3 has a dock, which can hold 10 apps, which ones will you put in your dock? The limit (for now) is 10 apps, or less.

I'll have these in my dock:
    -Messages
-Buy Me A Pie (shopping list app)
    -Remote
    -Music
    -ESPN
    -Dark Sky
-Shazam (assuming it performs better in watchOS3 than it does in watchOS 2)

    Nice choices :)

The most used apps that I'd want in dock would be
    -Messages
    -iConnectHue
    -Weather
    -Bus Checker
    -Trainline/ Citymapper

Maybe when WatchOS 3 is released publicly there may be more I'd add depending on how useful the apps are. :)

ESPN is currently not even a native app so it won't do much good in the dock if you want instant load as it has to go back to the phone for updates. I tried it in the dock and removed because it stunk. To make matters worse, ESPN on my iphone that has iOS10 has troubles opening a score/game in progress. Tried re-installing but it wasn't any better.

Dark Sky would work and load instantly but 15 minutes later it would start the spinning load icon...

I think these all get better once the developers update their products and fine-tune for background loading. Weather and Sports are two apps that are perfect examples of apps you want to be updating in the background - especially sports if you want current stats.

Currently, I am trying the following in the Dock:

    Carrot Weather
    Timer
    Workout
Settings - because I like to change wrist raise on and off depending on the time or what I am doing
Calendar - until fantastical works right
    The Score - testing now

Apparently, you have the 10 apps in the dock, plus the last used, plus all complications. If that is true, complications wouldn't need to be loaded in the dock but I will need to verify more.

    Currently I have:

    Messages
    Workout
    Reminders
    Weather
    Music

This dock feature may make me buy some apps now, so I'm on the lookout for some good ones.

Hmmm - Fantastical is working for me. What problems are you having with it?

Also does anyone know of a way to reorder items in the dock or do you need to predetermine the order and then load the apps?

Fantastical works for awhile and then seems to hang and I have to wait 5-10 seconds for it to show my current work calendar. Not too concerned since they need a chance to work their code for the new version and background refresh.

The only way I know to change the order of the dock is through the watch app on your phone.

Tap and hold on an item in the dock and you can reorder them.

It can be done on the watch. Go to the dock and tap / hold on an item to drag it to a different position. I can't get the dock menu on the phone to work. Just shows me a spinning wheel forever.

Thanks for that - I was either tapping too hard or not long enough. Works great.
