    I'm putting my iPhone up for 24 hours on eBay, starting tomorrow night. What do you think? (I'm not allowed to post a link to the listing, so...)

    I am selling my 3-month-old 8gb Apple iPhone unlocked for use on any GSM carrier worldwide. It is in great condition. There are a few scratches on the screen which are barely noticeable while the phone is in use. There are also scratches all around the chrome bezel. The iPhone will also have "installer.app" installed, allowing you to download 3rd party applications over Wi-Fi and Edge.

    In the iPhone box, you will find:

    * Apple iPhone 8gb
    * Used Apple headphones with built-in mic and music controls, cleaned with rubbing alcohol
    * Used Apple iPhone dock
    * New, unused Apple USB 2.0 Cable
    * New, unused Apple Power Adapter
    * Cleaning cloth
    * Original instructions, "Finger Tips" guide and Apple logo stickers
    * Original Sales receipt dated June 29, 2007 (I had the phone replaced a few months ago, the original sales receipt is still effective.)

    If the bidding reaches above $449, or if somebody uses Buy-it-Now I will include a FREE Apple Bluetooth headset (A $129 value!)

    In the headset box, you will Find:

    * Used Apple Bluetooth headset with cloth cover for comfort (both cleaned with rubbing alcohol.)
    * Used USB 2.0 Travel Cable (Acts as a regular USB 2.0 cable, but charges both the iPhone and the iPhone Bluetooth headset simultaneously.)
    * Used Apple iPhone Dual Dock with attached USB 2.0 cable (Same as the regular iPhone dock, but charges both the iPhone and iPhone Bluetooth headset simultaneously.)
    * Original instructions

    Instructions for when you receive the iPhone:

    1. Insert a small paperclip (included) into the small hole on top of the phone to release the SIM card tray.
    2. Insert new SIM card into the SIM tray, and slide it back into the iPhone.
    3. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes on your PC or Mac, and plug the iPhone in via USB 2.0 cable.
    4. Open iTunes
    5. Follow on-screen instructions.

    NOTE: In iTunes, do not use the "restore" or "restore from backup" feature on your iPhone. It will re-lock your phone. However, now it is easy to unlock iPhones, so if you ever do re-lock your iPhone, there are plenty of guides online that can easily guide you through the process. Because the unlocking process is unauthorized by Apple, the warranty is void when unlocked. However, if the iPhone is restored in iTunes, Apple will not be able to tell that the phone was unlocked, and you may be able to get a replacement (worked for me!) If you wish for the iPhone to be locked when shipped, email me after you have won the item. this will also remove installer.app. If no email is received, the phone will remain unlocked.

    PayPal ONLY from confirmed US addresses!

    Immediate payment preferred.

    If for any reason you win the auction, but do not pay, you will receive negative feedback. NO exceptions.

    You must have a feedback score of three to bid.

    If you have any questions, feel free to ask! Thanks for looking, and happy bidding!

    bear in mind, you, as a seller, can no longer leave negative feedback. Not that this is very important as their account would be deleted anyway. But for future reference :)

    That was an extremely high estimate. I sold it for $315, with no bluetooth headset. It ended rather low compared to other ones, but I wanted $300 at least, so I'm happy.

    I don't get why these iPhones on ebay are going higher than what you can buy one from from Apple brand new. What am I missing here? Because they are jailbroken?
