Just for kicks.
If you choose other, throw it in the comments.
Terrance Just For Kicks
Yeah, Terrance crossed my mind, but I'm going with iPhone 5 just to be on the safe side.
Cool. I voted for 'other'.
The New iPhone to keep up with the iPads cheesy naming scheme
Probably will be marketed as "the new iPhone" and known as iPhone (6th gen).
Wow, yet another thread asking the same exact question as dozens already have.
Yeah, and then a year later, we'll have another "The New iPhone." Then when people ask, which iPhone you have they'll say "The New iPhone." "Is that the new iPhone from this year or last year?"
Like I said, just for kicks. Also to see what the majority believe.
...and, just for kicks, you could have used the search function, found over a dozen similar thread, and read them to see what the majority believes.
I'll handle this.
This. "The new iPhone".
Its an iPhone !
Apple will probably call it the new iPhone. Can't put 4G or LTE in the name because of our European friends.
What do you think the next-gen iPhone will be named?
It should be iGen
I just came in here to point out how funny it is that people think the iPhone won't follow the same naming scheme as the new iPad.
That is all.
either iPhone 5 or iPhone HD
How about the i don't care?
Don't forget our other pals - the Australian government, and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission!
Oh crap. I came in here to vote for "iPhone 5" but somehow erroneously checked the box for "iPhone 4(something)" instead. Oh boy, what an epic fail I am.
As much as I would love it to be called iPhone 5 to shut up most of the "know it alls" on here I could probably safely bet on it being called "the new iPhone" or similar.
I vote for "the new iPhone".
It would be INSANE if they called the iPhone 6 the iPhone 5 LOL.
Calling it iPhone 6 seems way too sensible for them, after just calling the iPad 3 the "iPad" (or "new iPad")...so yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if they call it "the new iPhone", which would at least drive me less nuts than if they call it the iPhone 5, at which point why not call it the iPhone 3, or the iPhone 2, or the iPhone 99?
