Sorry I have no idea, but if I could have a little guess - does it mean you've listened to some of but not all of it? So it's a 'half new' sign?

Just guessing though Looks interesting ...

It means that you have started watching/listening but haven't reached the end of the track, it will be white once you reach the end.

Yep that one means you have only listened to/watched part of the podcast.
