What happen to my backlit?

I tried to turn up my backlit and notice this.

Did I change something in the settings? Whatever I try it keeps showing me this icon and the backlit does not work.

Go into a darker room.

That means that it is to bright for the backlight to work or it is not needed because of the lighting conditions.

It will only turn on if it is dark. When you are in the light it will not come on.

Unchecking the option will disable the backlight completely.

google a program called labtick

it will allow you to turn it on manually and works great.
