So here in Town Square Las Vegas, I arrived around midnight and there were about 50 or so people ahead of me. Called Apple around 8PM and they said they are not allowing lines until 9PM, but then, the first campers have already arrived for hours and have been unofficially and secretly waiting inside the store, and have been respectfully treated by other secret campers too.

8 hours of chilling with other people...
the apple specialists came out with tickets....
A sculper was walking around offering people 100 for their tickets, apparently no luck for him?
and another sculper got a 64G silver ticket, traded for a 64G grey ticket for 100 bucks.
4 Gold iPhones (64G Verizon x1 and 64G Att x3), very limited silvers, and enough space grey for everyone.

I wanted Silver and there were none for ATT left so I went with Space grey, so did about 90% of other people. I was going to sculp a little bit and buy two iphone and sell one on the spot, and then I went, since everyone could get a grey according to Apple, I decide not to go through ther trouble of selling a phone with a possible low profit.
Ended up,there were some people waiting in the line that were not able to get a new phone at all...
    oh well..
what happened to all your campers this morning?

NOT a good night to try to camp out here in Chicago Area Last Night, we had T-Storms Last Night, so I chose to stay awake at my Computer instead and try NOT to fall asleep before 02:01 Chicago Time.

Well I mean if they had about 30 or so gold iPhones, I would just go oh well, I should have show up earlier, but only 4? at Apple Store? in your case..ONE???
Cmon...I could have ordered it on Best Buy or something and pick it up the next day.

At least camping outside for the first time was actually fun, everybody was really nice and stuff.

I'm still trying the figure out this whole gold iPhone situation...
You were FIRST in line there was only ONE gold iPhone?!?!?!?!?!?!? ONE?!?!?! How could there only be one?!?! Okay, sure they didn't know if the gold was going to be popular or not, but.....ONE?!?!?! Wow...

    ----------

And let me just add this on too.....I guarantee if the gold iPhone was made of real gold, at least ONE would have sold!

I tried buying one from Best Buy last night with next day pickup, but there weren't any gold ones available in any capacity within a pretty good range. There were however a few space grey models.
