............to make my brain hurt so much?

I just discovered Zinio on the Ipad. Like the app whore I am, I busily terrorised my overdraft and signed up for subscriptions to National Geographic, Mother Jones, The Smithsonian, Rolling Stone, Stereophile, Under The Radar, Juxtapoz and finally American Spectator thinking it was the usual liberal stuff I lap up. Harper's Magazine is my favourite. But this is just full of hearing aid ads and Tea Party carp. This cost me $14 for 10 or issues. Not happy, but I've only got myself to blame for being so ignorant.. What do i do? Not download them. Download them for an ironic chuckle, but risk a head ache?

Is this the best the right can dish up. What a joke?

Seek and ye shall find, and I guess he did?? :D

He should be delirious with joy, now that his thirst for pain has been satisfied.

It appears that I did my money on Mother Jones. Its gushing idealistic leftism leaves me nauseous.

Could anybody recommend some centrist liberal and/or apolitical publications like literary, arts or scientific magazines? I like the Economist, but it is just too expensive and easy enough to grab a recycled issue. Ditto, if I could be bothered with Newsweek, Time etc.
