What is the best content blocker (for Safari) for use on the rMBP?

Especially important is something that not only blocks ads effectively but uses little system resources/CPU/energy.

I'll second allonym's vote. 1Blocker is probably the best I've come across.

1Blocker just came out with 1Blocker X for iOS. In the few days that I’ve been using it Safari seems to load more quickly and the settings for blocking are endless. I think that it was 4 or 5 dollars.

My go-to is uBlock Origin. Installed in FF, Chrome, epichrome apps, Safari.

I use and have been very happy with AdBlocker Ultimate.

I started using Adguard (the free extension, not application) recently and it works very well from what I can tell. No notable performance changes and no ads at all.

Very happy with Wipr, it's quick and unobtrusive.
