I have the iPhone X silicone case and it gets extremely disgusting looking.

I tried using a microfiber cloth but no luck with that.

I don’t want to use alcohol bc I heard there’s like a layer or like a coating on top and I don’t want to damage it.

What can I do???

This seems like really common knowledge. Also, Apple has info direct on their website how to do so:

To clean your silicone iPhone case, remove your iPhone from the case. Use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth to wipe the outside and the inside of the iPhone case. Don't use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, ammonia, abrasives, or cleaners containing hydrogen peroxide to clean the iPhone case.”

Would a micro fiber cloth be lint free?

I use something like this. In fact it looks exactly the same.

I clean my silicon case with alcohol. If alcohol damages the case in a year I’ll get a new case.

In the middle of several books.

Yes, a micro cloth is lint free.

You have a very bad habit of asking questions on the forum, without even trying to look for the answer first. You should have done what Relentless did. Time to start using your phone, instead of always looking to others to point out the obvious to you.
