As far as seems, he's going to have corporations finance $1 trillion plus, and in rerturn give them certain tax breaks or exemptions.

Are corporations actually interested? Will they demand too much? Will Trump's plan(if it's actually the plan) work? And where would rebuilding interest be, besides NYC?

First up, getting the people to pay for improvements at his residences.

He recently floated letting corporations rebuild roads and bridges and allowing them to collect tolls.

Back, I dunno, maybe 30 years ago, there was a comment from the Texas Highway Department that the money did not exist to pay for the needed improvements to solve the traffic problems of Houston. So, slow public-money construction and more-rapid toll-road construction.

The transportation fuel tax is woefully short of capability for improvements and maintenance of the present system. The federal budget and tax structure is about tapped out for expansion. Same for water lines and electric transmission lines. We can't stand larger deficits; we're already in deep doo-doo.

I'm in accord with Trump's desire, but first I need to see a rational way to pay for the goodies. TANSTAAFL.

Infrastructure is a word he never even used, and maybe never even heard, until 6 months ago. Like most of his other plans, it involves "something terrific". That's about as much as he's thought about it.
