Hey, I am just wondering what kind of deal I might get on Apple Care from the dealer I bought my iMAC from? He tried to push it on me the day I bought my iMAC to help get the price down.

I did ok as it is, $1249 for a 24" 2.8ghz from last year. ($1399 from Apple clearance section) $100 for 4gb memory. Could have purchased the ram for around $50.....Still not too bad at least.

Apple Care for iMAC is $169. $120-$150? Though I have a feeling he aint gonna want to take off much, unless I buying something else. :)

Though there is always Ebay eh? :D NOT!

it is $116 with student discount. $120 is barely a deal. check ebay or amazon.

Apple will dive you a discount when you buy the machine but you can do better at Amazon or LA Computer.

Agreed. Go third party - they make their money on volume so you'll get a better deal.

eBay should be a good option - just make sure that you are getting the boxed version.
