I'm about making a purchase and can't be sure whether this model is unlocked or not?
can anybody help me to verify ?

A search shows that it is a 3GS 8GB ... AFAIK, no 3GSes come unlocked.

Some sold outside of the US are unlocked. But the LL in the model indicates that it's a US 3Gs, which is locked to AT&T.

No, just that it is a US model. Apple didn't offer unlocked 3GSes in the US.
