i usually use music rescue, but i heard copytrans is good. is it worth the 20 dollars? or is there a way to get the full version another way?

whats best. i want to also have my playlist and etc put into my itunes as they are on my ipod. thanks

Just open the music folder on your iPod, drag the contents into a new iTunes library and consolidate your library (File -> Library -> Organise Library -> Consolidate). This will copy all tracks to your iTunes music folder =]

Only the ordering, if i know what bands/albums I could just make a smart playlist and have iTunes make it for me. Then if I don't care about the order, I can shuffle it around.

Trust me, the programs that can keep your library info and playlists are much more useful than those that can’t.

^ i agree i just hate clicking enter every 50 on music rescue and for some reason that program didn't copy my playlist fully. ugh! id on't wanna pay 20 bucks though.
