Which G5 do you have? AGP or PCI-e graphics?

If AGP, I think the top card is Radeon X800 XT, while for PCI-e its Radeon X1900 G5 Edition.

This seems like a bargain! (no I'm not the seller)

eBay sale.

Note, that the guy has placed Apple firmware on a unit produced for the PC, but he's guaranteed it to work.

Guys back in the day were paying silly silly money for this card. By all accounts, it's noisy too! Release of 6800 Ultra on MacRumours

Just to remain bias-free, the same seller has the x800XT on sale too.

Umm, perhaps thinking a bit about it would help

Probably you can look at the specs of the computer on it's box, or open the "About this Mac" window...

Sounds obvious to me... or you just dont care

For AGP - either Radeon X800 XT or GeForce 6800 Ultra DDL

Be sure to get Mac editions, or they won't work. There's also an option to "flash" a card, but I'm not educated on this topic, so probably somebody else can help you.
