That guy is the biggest joke of a president this country has ever seen. I can't wait to see him trounced this fall.

He looked like a complete bafoon babbling at the G summit. All the other world leaders have zero respect for him. What an embarrassment.

I agree. I wish we could go back to the bush years when the whole world respected our president.

In 3 and a half years Obama has increased our dept 5 trillion dollars. Just wait till Obama Care kicks in. It's the beginning of the end for this country if the supreme court doesn't knock it down.

I'm sorry but people who say Obama ruined the country obviously forgot about Bush.

Starting two unnecessary wars based on KNOWINGLY false intel from an interested party and cutting taxes during war time, paying with said wars by BORROWING money and plummeting the value of our dollar is what "ruined" the country.

    Not Obama.

I will certainly agree bush has some blame but Obama has taken our downfall to the next level like I never thought possible.

What about obamas little wars? Libya ring a bell? Or his massive use of drones killing terrorist in other countries? (something I am all for btw)

This thread is either a joke, or posted by someone who is seriously misinformed. Obama has done a lot to get this country back on track. Civil rights advances are off the charts and the world finally thinks we might actually be a decent country again.

    List of Obama achievements:

    http://www.whathasobamadone.org/

The only thing he hasn't done is get that message out. Perhaps the OP wants to go back to the policies that got us here in the first place, because that's what Romney will do. Four years is not enough time to undo eight years of damage.

It's not funny, it's pathetic. If the OP is truly interested in the truth, he'll read what I linked in my last post. But I suspect he only cares about ideology, and not what's best for the country. That's what's sad about people right now. They don't care about what is in the best interest of the country, they just want to think they've "won".

They all love to regurgitate lies they heard from their GOP associates. Hell even things that are true they're filled with bias slander.

Welcome to PRSI. I look forward to discussing the issues with you.

Regarding your OP, I'm totally fine with you thinking obama is a joke. Lord knows I've held similar views of past Republican presidents. You are more than welcome to hold whatever opinion that you like.

However, in your second paragraph you claim, "All the other world leaders have zero respect for him." This goes beyond your mere opinion and indicates you know what is in the minds of others.

Could you please source this knowledge? I'm be eager to see proof of it.

    Thank you.

If Cheney doesn't have a problem with it, why should you now?

Why are you worried about the national debt, if your own party isn't, and won a second 4 year term on that platform?

Anywho, you sound like you really do not know your history. Here's a refresher for you:

    http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=14725220&postcount=132

None of those numbers have been adjusted for inflation. But let's also look at whose administrations were in charge during those times:

    1970 - 1976: Nixon; Republican.
    1976: Ford, Republican.
    1980 - 1988: Reagan, Republican.
    2001 - 2008: Bush, Republican.

Seems like someone is oblivious to (or just outright forgot) their history.

what began this downfall was the deficit spending done throughout the 80s and supplying Al Qaeda with weapons; the same Al Qaeda we would end up fighting 20 years later. Do you realize we are still paying for the S&L bailout? No? How about the Airline bailout? Do you realize that half the airlines we've bailed out are either bankrupt, or completely insolvent and out of business? That, with lowering taxes? Oh wait.. because it was enacted by the Reds it doesn't matter. Oh, wait again..

If "ObamaCare" is bad, what about the Reds' own Medicare Part D, which is still completely unpaid for?

Obama looks a hell of a lot better than his predecessor. But then again, you probably don't recall the looks of contempt and disdain on Merkel's face when Bush came up right behind her and gave her a back massage, without hesitation or her permission.

In any corporate world, that would be considered sexual harassment, and he would have been fired. And yet you are silent on that. The hypocrisy is, as I mentioned before, astounding.

So you agree and yet try to use that as a negative? Talk about ass backwards mentality.

However, from a British perspective (and we adore a good joke) - one of the massive disappointments of the Obama administration is the complete lack of comedy gold nowadays coming out of the White House.

There was too much to mention from the Bush years but my personal favourites was the Bush/Blair toothpaste conversations and the film of Bush driving a nervous Gordon Brown around in circles in golf cart. I also really miss the "Donald Rumsfeld soundbite of the week" on BBC Radio 4...

(A lot of us were secretly rooting for Sarah Palin - now that would have been entertaining. From a comedy point of view who should we be supporting now?)

Brits had basically lost hope for America after you re-elected the comedy sideshow guy. He was stupid, warmongering, religious, retrogressive. And you thought he was fit to be your leader. :D

Obama is the best thing that happened to the US in a long time. Guess the shock of having a leader that can string a sentence together is too much to handle for some folk.

That's nothing new, I can't think of an American President within my lifetime that deserves respect for anything outside of holding an important political office. From Reagan the corporate puppet, to Dubya the war criminal, to Obama the teleprompter addict, they're all pretty awful in their own special way :p.

REally? The worst thing you could come up with is that he uses a teleprompter??? I'm not sure why that's something that makes a leader awful.
