Personally, I love opening the box.

How about you?
Same, but I do look it up as y’all know that there can be hidden deals on Apple Watch bands, quality control issues, and everything good and bad. For example, when I look at the clearance rack of the Apple Watch bands sometimes people bust the boxes open and take the bands out or to try them on, or they get damaged by other items being stocked over time. If you are trying to get a deal on the bands and though it is on sale and the box is a bit damaged or not, make sure there is no missing pieces or bands/cases especially with multi pack accessories.

Even look closely at the quality. If the lugs looks like they would fall off easily, even when you read reviews on them online give it a pass. That also includes the build quality and how it would look on your Watch.

There’s also a handful of accessories that may not be useful or even look unusual, like the $80 Tinypod case that turns your Apple Watch into a retro iPod or even some that can turn your Apple Watch into a pocket watch or necklace pendant. These will require certain settings and functionality to be turned off and reduced, so it can prevent unnecessary locking and health measurements.

I only buy from Apple, or Amazon.

Only once did I buy from another company, which went ok.

If you’re in the UK, have a look at the discount straps at mymemory.com.

Oh I like the hunt, like ordering, opening the box, and then putting it on. I voted putting it on though.

I have had great luck on eBay for discontinued bands. Although, I have been wearing the Alpine Loop exclusively for the last 6 months. I do have every color of that other than the starlight though.

Rarely from Apple due to pricing reasons, but yes I buy lots of Amazon bands. Amazon also has large multi pack Apple Watch bands like Sport Loops, Sport Bands and Solo Loops. Only two times I bought bands from TJX, Walmart or Ross, mainly because they were on sale.

Only one Amazon band had to be returned as the leather got cracked, it was a Secbolt slim leather band that was black and white.
