I thought about what might happen, so I tried it. Set my screen to 640 x 480, and just started putting tons of documents from a folder into the dock. I don't know how many I put in there, but the folder has 900 documents and I made it pretty far.

Eventually, I got to this point:

Adding one more document to that resulted in this:

Everything disappears... and check out those active triangles.

Crazy!

Heh! I'd love to see an animation if you turn your (Dock)magnification up full and run your cursor across the Dock! You could even do a funky animated short like that! ;)

Well, it initially looks like this:

However, I think I have discovered a minor, probably unknown bug, as moving the mouse down the line results in this:

Basically the icons never go away. And moving it around a lot results in this:

And it stays that way until I log out move the mouse to the end or off the dock... floating above any other windows.
