Everytime I plug my home pod I dont hear anything or see any status light on top of the speaker, but i do feel that it is on just no lights or sound. I called apple and they are charging me about the same price to buy another home pod . So im looking for a third party repair shop to fix it. ANybody with suggestions let me know

why do you feel it's on?

has it worked before?
what happened since?
can you see it in the home app?

I'm sure apple walked you through this, the power cord is removable, you have to pull pretty hard to get it all the way out though. have you tried pushing it back in?
 
I think your only choice for repair is to find an authorized repair center or an apple store, though most of those are closed for now. If you're in the US, Best Buy is probably the easiest to find, or you can go here and dig your way through the support options until you get to the page where they allow you to search for a repair shop. That link probably works for outside the US too.
