i want to buy 8GB , 2 X 4 GB where is the best place to get it for a good price ?
its $470 at newegg ..is that the best i can get?
$189 each: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820146879
If only you asked me about a week earlier. I just sold my 2x4GB Samsung DDR3 modules on Craigslist for $300 together.
I second NewEgg. Best prices, cheap shipping and very reputable.
wow $300 is a good price for that ram ! BTW why did u sell it ?
Check eBay out....many sellers have it for like $179/SODIMM and you can get 8% Bing.com Cashback...
i dont want to buy ram for EBAY ... is there a good ram you guys recommend 8GB X 2 = 16 GB in total ... which i can buy from newegg.com or some one website ...
I have had this ram for a while and it is good! It's $437.88 at Edge.
anyone hear of PRO memory?
They have 2 x 4G memory for iMac Core i7 for $331: http://www.memoryupgrade.pro/apple-...-ddr3-1066mhz-small-outline-dimm-upgrade.html
iMac does not support 8GB modules. If you want 16GB, you must get 4x4GB
plus you'd be crazy to pay the price for two 8gb sticks!
so that means 2X4GB is still 8Gb on each ram module correct? cause i think imac 27 has only two memory slots if i am not mistaken
It has four, so the maximum is 4x4GB, total of 16GB
