So say I want to buy an unlocked Windows Phone 7 to try out while I'm still on contract with my iPhone 4. What is the best brick and mortar place to do so? Does Microsoft stores or even Best Buy actually sell unlocked phones? I don't want to go the EBay route because shipping delays are too much hassle if I ever want any service.

    Canada is not a store.

I hope you know that this is a Mac forum. Go to another forum and ask there.

With an attitude like this will get you no where.

Not many brick and mortor stores going to sell unlocked phones as they are subsidised and are under an agreement with the carriers. You will need to look for a "private" source. Do not count on ANY service if wanting to buy an unlocked phone from anyone.
