iPod touch where to get week 39 touch?

Well.. I would say in about a week
there have been sightings of Week 39's out there, but they are rare.. i think. I got my touch last weekend from an Apple store and it was week 38... remember always look @ the serial number to see if its week 39 or 38

The fourth and fifth characters of the iPod's serial number denote the week in which it was manufactured.
For example: The serial number ***39****** suggests that the iPod was manufactured in Week 39.

By the way, to the OP, I ordered my one online on Wednesday (+13 GMT), and they dispatched it yesterday afternoon. So you might want to try your luck ordering another one from the Apple online store. Although it says 7 - 10 business days for dispatch, mine took about 24 hours only before it was dispatched. And I *think* I got a Week 39, according to my serial anyway.
No, but some people think that you have to get the latest production week or else the world is going to end. Even though the products are identical between 38 and 39...
